Sweet! Good luc. . . , er, break a leg?  (Does the old addage for show business to not wish luck, but its opposite, hold true for music?)

We want a U-Tube video!  ;)

Never on the field of Sosarian combat was so much dished out to so many by so few-Void Pool 7/19/14

Tjalle

Saxophone is my favourite instrument to listen to. When played right, it´s magic.

Good luck and have fun on your recitals.

+1 on the YouTube request...

Ian James

Everyone wants the you tube... I'll see what I can do

I am very far from Boston, but I wish you all the luck in the world.
My two horrors have just roped me into joining them in recorder practice - my first "formal" music training. Your achievements are so far ahead of my current struggles, I am in awe - well done!
*tries to gain another .01 in musicianship, makes horrid whistling noise instead*

Ian James

OK.... I have four of the five pieces uploaded to youtube.  The fifth is really long and I'll have to split it up....

Just a warning: This is modern concert music for saxophone...I fully expect most of you to not get it, and or not enjoy it as much as you would something you'd hear on the radio....

Sara Dale

Great job  Ian. I listened to them all and I liked the last 2 the best.

Hoffs

Very good. But you really should do something about that cruddy saxophonist who was accompanying you.

Tjalle

Good job Ian and thanks for the links.

However, I fell under your "warning"-category...  :P

Ian James

Thanks guys.  Tjalle, most of the stuff I have to play for these recitals is "academic"  *shrug*
