When I turned on my icq today, I had messages from one of your members, sent yesterday. The messages were about Siege discord. The person who sent these messages to me said I should not be calling out in general chat for players to join it if I want NEW to be neutral, and leading NEW players to the Siege discord is even worse, because of 'those kind of comments Vice were posting' also, that in this players view it is Vice discord and not Siege discord.

Here is a copy of my reply to your guild mate: "It's Siege discord server, just as Siege stratics is for Siege, everyone can post. NEW is neutral, no changes there. If any comments bother you, just say so on the discord, don't tell me."

Welcome back Branwyn, it was nice to see you in-game last night.

It really is/will be a good way to get to know one another a little bit better. I haven't used the voice chat yet (my Glaswegian accent sounds abrupt at times and my nicey nicey  persona could be compromised heh). I did just put a little avatar pic in there though, which was my baddest hair day EVER!  My son wanted to go to 'fitba' training and had his left hand in a 'stookie' from a previous game so couldn't drive himself. I'd been playing around with some hair wavers and had to drive him right away, so I was yelling at him at the state I was in, being seen in public with mad hair etc,. and he took a pic of it just for posterity. It doesn't matter if anyone says 'geez, your hair is really bad there' it's only a pic and more importantly...UO is just a game. For anyone who remembers the SP.net site I had, that was brutal which is why I closed it, the discord is nothing like that, it's very mild and friendly.

Hi, does Gilfane have a regularly active player they would be willing to have in NEW as an emissary? (crafter char would be fine) The player would of course have to be neutral toward other guilds/players when using the NEW char and simply be helpful in the way Hoffs and Bruin were in the past, accepting new players and whatever playstyle they will adopt. Someone who generally gets along with others on the shard would be preferable. We haven't had a whole lot of contact with Gilfane in the 6 months since I came back and I'd like to see your guild more involved if you're willing. We have a routine for guilding new players which I would go through with you and arrange for another emissary to be there while you guild your first couple of new players if necessary.
Also,
we have 2 NEW right now who are mainly German speakers and are friends of your guildmate Xavier. They want to join Gilfane to be with their friend and I've spoken to a few of your members about them, so if someone (preferably a German speaker) could speak with Xavier when he is on to arrange guilding Clara and Valerie that would be great.

Hiya, I'm trying to contact Otto as he's hardly logged on at NEW since I came back and not replied to an icq I sent him last week. He was on Faust just prior to last Saturdays event and again this evening, but seems to logout after a few mins.
