Desdemona Lyre's new vendor in Gilfane Market will carry mined goods, leather, bones, wood pulp, etc. from the rich land of Ter Mur.

A good spot for the Gilfane public teleporter would be near the Gilfane Market for the convenience of shoppers  :)

We know who you mean Vortex  :P. Some of us (points to self) will always be noobs.
But actually outings like last night  provide really serious training that can't be gained any other way. I maintain that even at lower skill levels, getting out in the field (PvM or PvP) with your mates in some challenging situation teaches how to play our character to best advantage. It is something that can't be gained any other way. And as you have seen, it is just plain fun too.

Welcome to Gilfane Cronauer. Take good care of that fire beetle Aeowyn tamed for you last night. The natives there took our lives several times over in exchange for it  ;D

Alas I was not present in Gilfane for the ceremony, but I wish you a hearty congratulations Vortex. I and the rest of the House Silverwood (yes even the elves and the rouge gargoyle) are at the ready to help you in any way.

Ali if it took all of that ***t rolling down hill into your face to make you think of hitting the tracks you ARE one amazingly strong woman. And from what I could see when you made into UO, you kept a sense of humor about it all too.
Forget the train tracks Ali, the world needs you (begining with us in WC) and your strength to balance out all of the weakness.

I think it is well worth the cost. There is so much content to it. And it is so nice to see folks at the bank again, even if many of them are flying creatures. We even had a conversation with a new gargoyle player in front of the bank!
And those of us who are deco queens are in heaven, as Sara said, with all of the new artwork for tiles and furnishings. And the additions to the botany system are awesome really.
I started playing back when UO was new game and experienced it as a medieval land with quite a lot of depth, the mainland and some islands that I usually sailed to. But now it is really more like an image of a world with various races and lifestyles possible.

Best wishes on your new home. BTW Bat houses are a great way to keep those insect eaters in the neighborhood without having them invade your chimney.

Hail Freja, Fanta, Falco and all TDO vampyres and outlaws:
Two days ago an unfortunate incident occured in the Gilfane Lyceum which has been a public house. The Silverwood Scribe, Tal-San-Su was returning from hunting scrolls and found himself near Fanta and two others when landing at the Lyceum which is also his home. Not wishing to fight, and confused as to why Fanta would run at him, he hid and then he ran into the house. He was quite shocked that the outlaws ran in and tried to reveal him in his home. No words were spoken and Tal felt his only way to avoind being ganked was to hide and log out. Since that incident, the doors to the peaceful and lovely Lyceum remain locked to all but friends of the house by Tal-San-Su's command but the portico with its gardens and refreshing fountain remains open to the public.
Having read this post of Frja's I will try and reassure Tal that he will not be stalked in his house by TDO again. Thank you. And thanks for keeping this all in fun.

Citizens of Gilfane: Our youngest and most enthusiastic warrior has been infected by the foul vampyres! Sad but true; our Fanta has been seen running about in a fit of bloodlust. The poor thing seems to have lost his ability to speak as well. He and others of the Dark Outlaws attempted to corner Tal-San-Su in his home and do what to him I dare not imagine.
As of Saturday night we remain in the grip of the werewolf menace and many more innocent citizens lie dead at the hand of their fellows who accused them wrongly of being wolven. Now we must confront the threat of the vampyres. For those citizens who are unable to defend themselves I suggest carrying a bag of gold coins. These outlaws are bloodthirsty but are also afflicted with avarice and for the promise of gold they may spare your life since you are no threat to them. Then toss a braid of garlic in your path and run and, as they are disoriented by the pungent herb, you may make your escape. Unless of course the outlaw is not one of the undead children of their queen Freja but meerly a lacky.
