Silverwood Gardens vendor in Gilfane Market has colorful dyes as well as the rare black and white as well as plants, vines and shrubs. Sara Dale tells me that her vendor in Makato at Willis' place is stocked with goodies obtained at a five finger discount by Delores Duende. She passes on the savings to you.

Aye, do tell us more about yourself. Especially your dark deeds of the past. The senior citizens of Gilfane House Silverwood are always looking to hear a good story.

Desdemona Lyre has a house in Ter Mur near the bridge. If you run over the bridge you can lure bunches of raptors over to the house and kill them from the porch. Des or I can friend you or Sara Dale can at least give you access. Max and Reaper often hunt raptors that way and put their loots in a bag on the porch.

Yes Sara welcome back. The lands are about to be run over with turkeys I hear. Des and Aislinn were good and didn'y burn the Ter Mur house down, maybe since she owns it now Des has become more responsible? *coughs* I doubt it though. I heard from the Ter Mur bank teller who seems to know everybody's business around there that Des and Max were hanging out littering the yard with ore slag and dead raptor guts.

Well since I was busy with poultry matters yesterday, I gave Desdemona Lyre permission to fill in for me at the House Cup contest. Here is her account of the event:
House Silverwood was represented by a motely crew of four, all of us with slightly different skills. Sara Dale is an axe slinging archer who, like most elves is very sneaky. In fact she is most likely one of the stealthiest citizens of Siege. And, I might add, since she travels everywhere on foot she knows her way around the realms. Artful Dodger set aside his crafting skills to compete as a mage archer; another sneaky elf as well. Tal-San-Su who came to us from the now defunct savage clan is a skilled mage. Then there I was the lone gargoyle in the contest. And my wings are still not fully dry yet so I am not as adept at the occult sciences as I hope to be some day. Alas there was no provision made for those of us who control the forces of the underworld to achievve our ends. However I was able to put my ability to fly to good use in retrieving quest items and in two quests I was first to obtain a bag of supplies because the elves and humans had to travel afoot.
But as I was the weakest link, I died more times than I care to remember and I fear I slowed down our progress. There were also a couple of squabbles between myself and Tal the savage. Everyone knows how gruff and macho they are as a race; very hard for us refined and sensitive gargoyes to contend with at times. And as Sara said, we did our best at teamwork. Though we were very low on stamina by the end we amazed ourselves by coming in first.

OOC: Great event  and hope we can do this again in the future. Needs to be doable in two hours or so I think

I won't be around at all til Nov 3rd (or late 2nd) because I will be very tied up with work down in VA. Alas I don't have a laptop yet so I will miss the Halloween fun on UO and all the usual mischief Sara, Tal and I get into. Hopefully they will extend the Halloween content for a bit.
Have a fun and safe Halloween; we are never too old for tricks and treats.
