Hey Kronos, welcome back.

Not too much new, a few new skills, a few new things to do.  But the bulk of the things we do are hunt monsters as a group (champ spawns), or hunt players as a group (Luna) - not too much different from when you were last around!

Our forums provider died fairly recently so the CWS forums are still fairly empty.  Was a shame, we really lost years of history there.

Very good build Cali put up, but requires MR gear as you can't live on 60 med with chivalry.

Casting cap is 4/6 for chivalry, 2/6 if Magery >70.  You don't need a 2h weapon, you can use a 1h, and it's probably preferable so you can drink pots.  Stats, ~90-100 STR, always put dex as high as needed to get maximum swing speed, so depends on your weapon of choice, and rest in Int, but you should shoot for ~50 or higher.

I am assuming you are former CWS or affiliated as most of those names that you mention are former CWS.  For some reason I'm thinking your name reminds me of a former KRT.

Grot no longer plays, last I heard he was deployed in Iraq.  They (Grot and his wife Dola) still have one account active I believe, Allistan, but that character is in Myth - I believe Dola plays the character but its possible Grot does as well.

Some old names that are still around off the top of my head -
Mo'gluk the Orc runs around with Gilfane.
Kush is still semi-active in CWS.
Freja has her guild, TDO.
Shalimar is running NEW.
There are several murderers who have been around for some time, however I'm not sure which ones were around during your time.
Gareth Warland recently returned to CWS.
A few C8V and DTA may still be around from your day.

At the urging of Puffy, Wispwood will be holding a Story Night tonight at 7:30pm PST at the Golden Unicorn Tavern in the town of Wispwood Shire.

For those that do not know what story night is, it is simply a roleplayed tavern night where people tell some of their favorite stories. For each story night we have a theme which we like to base the stories around. The theme is simply to help those who can not think of a story to tell. Any and all stories you wish to tell are welcome at story night.

The theme for the night will be your time while a newbie on Siege. When you were first born into this land, what did you do? Some of the most exciting times for a person was when you experienced something new, so share those new Siege experiences with us!

The first template you stated is pretty much the standard template.  Remember, if you are in factions you can just load up on faction gear with MR and/or runic armor and don't need med, allowing you to take anatomy or healing. 

In terms of healing - yeah, you rely on potions and confidence.  You're job isn't to dominate in a long drawn out field battle, you're the assassin.  Get in, do your thing, and if things take a turn for the worse pop a smoke bomb and stealth away.
