Lack of marketing has always been UO's weakness. Unless they do marketing don't expect any great influx of people on any shard.

Speaking of swamps - There is an 17x17 or 18x18 house called the Mouse Hole owned by Myszka that is for sale just east of my castle about 69 degrees 4 mins South 41 degrees 3 mins East. Nice location right on water with grass around it and almost no spawn.
