Hello dear friends!

Just a short teaser - it am almost done. A big thanks to Shakespeare for the incredible support - and to all the others who supported this project or donated to it. Everybody who gave a donation is displayed with an engraved statue in the museum - and his name is mentioned in the books around in the museum.

The museum is displaying most of the rings and bracelets and other pieces of jewelry available in this game - only few are missing. And I guess, there is no other collection of just jewelry anywhere...

„Oh dear!“, Alfred Alzheimer rubbed his glasses and fell into his armchair. „I think I am getting old!“ For about 45 years he had been researching and teaching arcane arts in his college deep in the mountains of Malas. He looked out of the stained glass windows and contemplated the white summits. Fall had come and this other-wordly retreat was already covered with snow.

„It must have been in these rooms somewhere“, he mumbled. For the last 20 years he had concentrated on one single research object: the Armageddon Spell. He remembered when the avatar came to Britain, in those dark years. In his mind, cloudy pictures appeared: the whisps, his old friend Rudyom from Cove, the Guardian... And trough all these years, the Armageddon Spell was considered as being lost. For the sake of all living beings. Now, close to the end of a long academic life, he could see many things much more clearly: „I must have digged too deep. Always sticking your nose into forbidden knowlege...“ He breathed deeply and opened a little brown book which was lying on his desk - „Brief History of Britannian Magical Arts“ was imprinted in golden letters. He started to read:

„The spell Armageddon is truly devastating. Once it is cast, it destroys all life on the world, with the exception of the spellcaster, leaving only a barren wasteland behind, devoid of any life. Only the biggest fool, full of madness, would dare to cast this spell, as it literally results in the end of the world.

Over 700,000 years ago, the Xorinite Wisp gave it to a mage named Zog. Zog was foolish enough to cast it, and all life was destroyed. The spell re-appeared in Britannia, thousands of years later, where the Wisps gave it to the Avatar as a gift. Later it was kept by the archmage Rudyom in Cove. And in the end, the Avatar had to cast it to defeat the Guardian, sacrificing his own life. Since then, the spell is considered as lost.“

Yes, that was the story all colleagues knew. It was by no means a secret. However, there was a secret, only he knew: The spell was not lost. It still existed and he, Alfred Alzheimer, had found it, studied it and came to the conclusion, that it should never be found again. Hence, he developed a system of safeguarding through all the years up here. And he was sure, that his measures would guarantee, that this spell would kept secret for another 700.000 years.

But now, he lost the key to the hidden knowledge he himself had masked so masterfully. „Alas“, he moaned, looking at his fellow raven Nicodemus, who was sitting by his desk, picking some nuts: „Look, what age has done to me. I cannot even remember where my own diary is.“ His left hand lovingly touched Nicodemus´ plumage: „If I could just find this stupid book, I might be able to remember where to begin...“ Somewhere in this dusty mess it must be. I know I wrote it down there, the first hint...

Dear Siegeians!

Please forgive the many posts, but I finished alot of work and some of my customers might be interested in the following information: The vendor you might have known for the last 3 years has moved to Zento, my new outpost by the docks. I x-traded houses with the wonderful Petra Fyde (thank you very much, Petra) and opened a new vendor, which can be accessed within Zento´s guardzone! :-)

Here is the vendor, the prices have been lowered and new items added - maybe you want to have a look. I promise, this will be the last new advertising thread for the next days! :gee:

I tried to give the place a special touch, if you want to visit it, you can still use Kelmo´s Umbra Hub, Petra´s former teleporter will stay active and public. There are also some more teleporters (mostly for alliance members and guildies, e.g. the Loothouse) - the teleporter to the Jewelry Museum in Safe Haven will be public, too. From this teleporter you can also reach the Britan Hub:

Today I want to introduce you to my new project:

The Alfred Alzheimer College and Secret Society of Arcane Arts.

This new building will be the starting point for a chain of events developed for the shard during the winter 2018/19. I am working on ideas.

But first, have a look - the decoration is not 100 % ready as I am still missing parts and it is hard to get them on Siege. And I forgot the flowers around the north-eastern part of the building :gee:

The style is inspired by Tudor-style buildings I saw when I visited England last year (Christ Church College, Trinity College). With the markets of a prodo shard, it might have been easier. But it will work nevertheless...

Until the the end of the first week of November, there will be a Halloween Giveaway at my museum in the center of Safe Haven: There is a steward waiting for you here...



Just walk there and greet him in the fashion of the season

There are artifacts, pumpkins, spellbooks, mastery primers (lvl 2 + 3), deco, deeds and lots of other stuff in the backpack of my steward, which will drop in yours, if you find the right keywords.

You can reach the museum via the Umbra and the Britain hub. Take your time and have a look, you wont find a more complete collection of jewelry anywhere else, I bet

For a new architecture project I would like to trade my keep between Yew and Britain for a 18x18 plot, preferred in Gilfane itself or alternatively a 17x17 in Zento. 18x18 in another good location is possible, but I have to look first.

After 4 month now I can do a short review of the first series of 10 public hunts:



I had alot of fun and GIL-players helped in many many occasions. I know, its nothing compared to your PVM-frequency, but it´s a start.

Dear virtuous Siegeians,

last Saturday was a wonderful experience - again alot of players joined the hunt. We counted 26 characters attending the White Net Toss at New Mag Docks!

In order to prevent schedule collisions, I am announcing the Public PVM-Events for June now at the same time:

7th Public PVM-Event will start at June 11. ATTENTION: We will start at 10 pm CET this time, which should be 4 pm EST (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!).

8th Public PVM-Event will start at June 25 - same time as usual: 9 pm CET = 3 pm EST (I hope I am correct, mixing it up all the time).

I have not made up my mind about potential targets. You can write me a PM (as always) and register for the hunt and tell me your wishes

I got 26  (!) white nets. We meet after the EM-event. EM-event starts at 1.30 pm, white net toss at 3.30 pm. Hawker organized his event around mine, so we can prepare for a whole day/night of fun.

Hello everybody!

My last event is over and I am extremely thankful for having so many confederates - 34 chars in total! It was fantastic. Many people told me they had fun and we should not wait too long for the next event.

Hence, I am inviting all of you to another public hunt at May, 14. We will start at 9 pm CET - should be 5 or 6 h less on Eastern time. Not exactly sure ;-)

We will face some great bosses and visit some abandoned places - I wont spoiler much more. Just one info so far:

The first hunt led us to the Stygian Dragon and Navrey. The second hunt led us to Travesty and Navrey - the same as the third hunt. The fourth hunt led us to Osiredon and the Stygian Dragon.

...the next one will be COMPLETELY different. I have some ideas...

However, everybody who wants to join this night has a vote to cast in this matter. We will decide spontaneously from a certain number of options which I have prepared. Depending on the number of people who will join, we will face more or less dangerous creatures.

Everybody interested in joining is coridally invited!

I am really looking forward to fight with you again!

here you can see the humble beginnings of my latest project:



The exhibiton room is public and located on the 2nd floor (upstairs on the right side). At the moment, there are not many exhibits, but at the collecion grows, further rooms will be used for display cases...



The museum will show named artifact jewelry as well as legendary pieces looted from monsters...



There is a museum guide at the left wall with some information about the pieces...



If you gut old/cheap and/or newer/exclusive pieces you dont need anymore, please contact me, I will offer gold or other items for trade.

At the moment, there is not much to see - but I hope, I will be able to fill 3-4 rooms with various pieces within the next months :-)
