Well, we are getting a new EM. We will also get unique color items, and unique items to siege only. They will have no mods, but some things are gonna change. Messana gave out her email if there are issues. She doesnt want it getting this bad again.
There were hints (or maybe we are all reading into it), that the 'NEW' EM is a long time player here on siege. There were hints, but no for sures.
Also changed the luna gate to a black white surging color, and spawned an evil spider champ for the players to battle!

Messana is firing Quantium, and hiring a "NEW" EM. She is not happy with how we feel. The new em will take a bit get hiring package filled out, and trained up on the new powers, such as super flame strike!

Events will have reward items, and might be blessed (if no adverse effects). They will be unique name, no mods, and special colors, and art that isnt available on other shards. So im thinking we will be allowed new art, as Quantum told us he could only use old art, Pre-AoS. Also there will be some unique changes made to the shard by Messana. She changed the luna gate to a black and white gate. Not sure what else she has in mind.
She is also asking some other EMs to come here, and run some of the events they already ran on other shards here, so we can get some different events, and there would be little planning needed.
She also told us that EMs get $10/hr, with a max of 20 hours a month. After that they are on thier own time. She agrees this is not enough pay for an EM, but it is what it is.

Yeah came to Luna to talk to us, and then spawned Spiders champ in town to fight lol, with nothing on it, still good
would be great to get a new EM, when he is as activ as the ones on Drachenfels that would be fantastic

A suggestion was made a couple of days ago to someone on the shard and it looks like the idea was liked and followed up upon.

Yeah, just when asked if the new EM would be hoffs, Messana asked if hoffs was the GM of new, when we told her that Hoffs was old GM of GIL, and Alcor, told us it wasnt hoffs. So mentioned GM of new, without provocation
The letter I sent to Cal last year seemed to have been passed on to Mesanna. A little while after she invited me back as EM and that I could have most of the stuff I suggested in the letter (return of NEW books, event rewards back, support for a Tenth Anniversary celebration, etc). However, she withdrew the offer a couple of days later because apparently she had been told that I was the GM of NEW. I told her it was not true, but never heard from her again. So that is where the NEW/GM thing comes in.
Ah, thats why she figured you were bias due to the NEW books, if your the GM etc.

Well, after several explanations to them of what NEW is, I can't see why it would have mattered if I had been NEW GM anyway. Apparently it was okay for me to be GM of the largest guild on the shard, but not okay for me to be leader of the guild that helps new players get started here. *shrugs*
Well, I hope it's true that we are getting a new EM who knows what Seige is all about. That would rock.

Umm $200 a month for playing a game? Doing what you enjoy? I is confuseled.
