So pretty much the same. Resists are a tad different, but the same amount overall, same DCI, same luck. PvP breastplate really.

I think the issue is that a female character can wear both. Personally I could care less but I think we should let the males wear the violet. I mean, how good could they possibly fight with that metal groin strap?

You have a point there :D
But then the human/elf males will get the gargoyle ability berzerk. Since if what I had was smashed and squished with a groin strap, id be mad too.
