Glad you like them! If I hadn't been exploring .css I probably never would have come up with the idea. They were a lot of work, and my EC ingame maps are a mess with little green dots every 10 degrees on 4 sides :D.

This week I've taken a look at houses, starting with http://ode-guild.com/uostuff/housing.html , placing one, and working chronologically rather than alphabetically. I spent some time researching the security setting 'guild' which no one seemed very sure about. I'm not too great at decor, so that page is just basic with a link to another player's site who's a recognised expert.

I was reading about your post on housing. On the condemned time you should change the "in danger of falling" time to from 2 1/2 hours to 14. They changed the times for falling to who knows what now. Aislinn lost her keep. It had been checked on the 28 of Jan and it was down about 3 days later. Everything is random now.
Things left laying around will decay in one hour instead of 2. Its crazy.
hmm, ok. I'll see what I can put in to reflect that. No one has any actual figures any more. :(

Petra, Maladen and I were sparring last night and confirmed the spell damage cap for PvP to be 30. Im not sure if this is relavent or not, but it's good to know.
hmm, I'll try to track that down. The figure I had was 15% cap on sdi in pvp.

Be careful using a contract between the 4th and 6th days of growth, if you target the wrong part your contract will be lost when the plant matures on the 7th day.

It is probably worth adding that at 75 stealth skill or higher in med armor or naked you will never fail.
thanks, I'll add that. With skill that low you would be at a disadvantage against a character with GM detect though?

This week I've been underwater! Feeling a little guilty that all I had for virtue v vice was the publish notes I enrolled my Exodus thief. First thing she learned was the duration of stat loss. I've made a start on a bestiary - http://ode-guild.com/uostuff/bestiary.html It's a heck of a job though, if I'm lucky I might finish it this time next year! I'm reducing it by excluding anything that no longer spawns, 'yellow' named creatures you can't fight and grouping black and red solen together, since the stats are the same. I'm working alphabetically, but will abandon that when Time of Legends is live, as soon as I have bought the expansion, so that I can cover whatever new creatures are in that. So for now, I give you 'A' - only another 25 letters to go.

Petra is my UO hero. She knows everything there is to know. She even has a YOUTUBE video of herself doing a high level Treasure Map seeming to only be using a rising colossus and backing up alot. So I tried one, a level one, and ran away of course. But still...Petra is the person I would most like to emulate in UO, if I was into emulating.... The third part of the expansion on Test Center has included the map in EC with north/south co-ordinates making it possible for me to expand my maps section with location and grid maps for Eodon. This involved standing hidden near Eodon moongate carefully dropping markers all over my map that I could rule lines through when copy/pasted to my graphics program. http://ode-guild.com/uostuff/maps.html
